It’s Women’s History Month, so what better time than the present for Apple TV + to lift the lid on its female focal series. Especially as it stars some of Hollywood’s heaviest hitters – including Cynthia Erivo.

She’ll be acting alongside the legendary Nicole Kidman (who is also on-board as executive producer), Merritt Wever, and Alison Brie.
The show is based on a book of short stories by Cecelia Ahern.
It’s being shepherded by ‘GLOW’ creators Carly Mensch and Liz Flahive as part of their new overall deal at the streamer.
‘Roar’ will be comprised of eight half-hour episodes, each of which will unfold from the female lens and span a variety of genres.
